Welcome to Yuzawa Akitas

We are a very small kennel located in central Illinois dedicated to celebrating and improving the Akita breed.  As members of the Akita Club of America and Akita Club of Illini Valley, we keep a pulse on the community of Akita fanciers, staying current on health information, breedings, wins in the ring, legislation, and all sorts of other Akita-related information.

 We became involved with Akitas in 2005 when we acquired our Juno.   Since then, we have become frequent participants in conformation dog shows, and we are also active in Rally.  We recently decided to get involved with tracking and agility and currently train for these fun events.  All of our Akitas are spoiled pets first, and show dogs second.  We are working to establish ourselves as avid Akita exhibitors and, one day in the future, ethical and responsible breeders.  Please visit the links above to learn more about our Akitas.
